Sanford is now home to the first-ever drive-thru Starbucks in the Orlando area.
This location opened today, May 18, 2024.
The latest establishment also features a window for walk-up service, allowing patrons to either make requests or collect their pre-ordered items.
I was #3 in line today when it opened. It’s Starbucks, and it tasted like Starbucks. No real review here. More like an announcement that this ne place is open.
The size of the store is 1,400 square feet, which is smaller compared to the majority of Starbucks locations, but it includes a larger area for the drive-thru.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, in addition to the new location in Sanford, there are currently five more Starbucks stores being built in Orlando, specifically on Alafaya Trail, Myrtle Street, Town Center Boulevard, Narcoossee Road, and Hartzog Road. These new stores are part of the Flamingo Cross development and will include a drive-thru option.
