Last weekend, my husband and I, joined by my brother-in-law and his wife, ventured out to Kobe Japanese Steakhouse on International Drive in Orlando. If you’re in search of a dining experience that’s bursting with energy, flavor, and a sprinkle of theatrical flair, look no further!
The Atmosphere
Walking into Kobe felt cozy and inviting. We were seated at a teppanyaki table with a view of the grill. It was fun to see other families and friends gathered around, ready for a good time.
The Chef’s Show
When our chef arrived, he was ready to entertain us. He kicked things off with the “Onion Volcano,” stacking the onions and lighting them up. The reactions from everyone around were priceless. Then he did the “Beating Heart” trick, which had us all laughing. It’s hard not to enjoy a meal when it comes with a show!
The Food Experience
Now, onto the food. I chose the Sliced Teriyaki Steak, while my husband went for the Ultimate Japanese Wagyu. My steak was juicy and flavorful, with a nice sweet glaze. I really enjoyed every bite. My husband’s Wagyu was a standout; it was incredibly tender and rich. He couldn’t stop raving about it!
My sister-in-law ordered the Krabby Shrimp Roll, and it was delicious. Fresh and packed with flavor, it paired well with our main dishes. I also liked that they had gluten-free and vegan options, making it easy for everyone to find something tasty.
Drinks to Enjoy
To wash it all down, we ordered some drinks. I picked a Mai-Tai, which was refreshing and fruity, while my sister-in-law chose a Frozen Lava Flow. It was fun and matched the upbeat vibe of the night.
A Family Feel
Kobe has been family-owned since 1984, and you can really sense that warmth in the service. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience feel special.
Celebrating Together
What I love about Kobe is that it’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a place to celebrate. We noticed several tables celebrating birthdays and special occasions, and their happiness made the atmosphere even better.
As the night came to a close, I felt grateful for such a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a hibachi night filled with great food and fun, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is a fantastic choice. I’m already looking forward to going back!
Grab some friends or family and get ready for a night of laughter, delicious food, and great memories at Kobe!
